Job Description
Job title: Multidisciplinary Engineer Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end product development covering mechanical, electrical, fluid, and thermal aspects. Handle requirement analysis, sizing, design, prototype testing, and documentation. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver functional, compliant solutions. Expactations: Deliver functional prototypes that meet defined specifications, complete technical documentation, and achieve successful test results within stipulated timelines. Ensure designs adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer needs and propose technical solutions. - Perform sizing and dimensional calculations. - Design mechanical and electrical components using CAD tools. - Validate and modify drawings to meet quality standards. - Engage with clients to refine technical requirements. - Conduct supplier consultations and manage material selection. - Lead test planning, execution, and validation activities. - Produce comprehensive technical documentation. - Apply knowledge of sheet metal fabrication. - Utilize SolidWorks and simulation software for design optimization. Required Skills: - Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools. - Strong background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and electronics. - Experience in mechanical product development and validation processes. - Capability to interpret and translate client requirements into technical solutions. - Supplier liaison and procurement awareness. - Documentation and report writing skills. - Ability to conduct and analyze experimental tests. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.S./M.S.). - Equivalent professional training or certification in CAD/CAE is preferred. - Prior experience in a similar mechanical engineering role in product design and testing.
