Job Description
**Job Title**: Client Technology Manager – Enterprise AI **Role Summary**: Lead the design, architecture, and operational integration of enterprise‑grade AI solutions across SaskTel’s cloud and on‑premises environments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, compliance, and scalability. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance across AI platforms, MLOps, data engineering, and security. **Expectations**: - Own end‑to‑end technical design of AI platforms; ensure seamless integration with data, infrastructure, and security systems. - Drive adoption of best‑practice MLOps pipelines, model deployment, and data governance. - Evaluate emerging AI technologies to continually improve architecture and delivery. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing AI team and collaborate across multi‑disciplinary committees. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design and document enterprise‑AI solution blueprints with scalable, reusable architectural patterns that meet governance standards. 2. Own technical architecture across AI platforms, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with security/compliance requirements. 3. Mentor Enterprise AI team on MLOps, data engineering, model deployment, and best practices. 4. Assess and adopt new AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance capabilities. 5. Track and report architecture readiness, deployment timelines, and strategic alignment. 6. Participate in multi‑disciplinary committees, influencing technical and programmatic decisions. 7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth within the team. **Required Skills** - Enterprise architecture design for AI solutions (cloud and on‑premises). - MLOps pipeline design, model deployment, and CI/CD for machine learning. - Data engineering, data governance, and security integration. - Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences. - Leadership, mentoring, and team development. - Knowledge of telecommunications industry operations and organizational structures. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing AI architecture in enterprise environments. - Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Information Systems Professional (ISP), or equivalent designation preferred. - Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise architecture (TOGAF), or AI/ML platforms are assets.
