**Job Title:**
Active Directory Expert
**Role Summary:**
Leads enterprise identity & access management across on‑prem and cloud environments, ensuring secure, compliant AD, Azure AD, PKI, and SSO solutions. Manages Windows Server and VxRail/VMWare infrastructure, monitors ITSM workflows, coordinates with vendors, and supports and optimizes Citrix architecture. Works as a senior technical resource (L3/L4) delivering incident resolution, audits, performance tuning, and automation via scripting.
**Expectations:**
- Operate at expert (L3/L4) level, proactively identifying and resolving complex identity, networking, and infrastructure issues.
- Maintain uptime and security of core directory services, networking, and virtualization stacks.
- Deliver regular audits, patching, and configuration baselines in alignment with regulatory standards (JSOX, FDA, GQS).
- Act as a single point of contact for incident escalation and cross‑functional coordination.
- Continuously improve automation, observability, and performance across AD, Citrix, and cloud platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI, SSO, and App Proxy; configure GPOs, security groups, and application settings.
- Perform AD and Azure AD audits, schema updates, backup & restore operations; support JSOX, FDA, and GQS compliance.
- Manage Windows Server OS troubleshooting; integrate Linux support as needed.
- Oversee VxRail/VMWare server hardware, data‑center operations, and virtualization management.
- Resolve DNS/DHCP and networking incidents; configure and maintain network/file shares, SCP policies, and privileged user accounts.
- Handle public‑cloud directory services (Oracle IDCS, Azure/AWS) and vendor‑provided infrastructure.
- Lead observability initiatives using AWS/Azure monitoring, AIOps, and log analysis for 24x7 incident triage.
- Provide incident resolution via ITSM queue; drive ticket closure and aging metrics.
- Coordinate vendor activities, escalation matrices, and contract management for cloud and on‑prem resources.
- Maintain, design, and optimize Citrix architecture; integrate with org‑specific technologies and implement performance enhancements.
- Deploy, update, and manage Citrix servers, SDX appliances, NetScaler infrastructure, and related tools.
**Required Skills:**
- Active Directory & Azure AD (L3/L4) administration, including GPO, SSO, PKI, App Proxy.
- VxRail, VMWare, and server hardware management in data‑center environments.
- Networking: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and network/file share configuration.
- Windows Server OS troubleshooting; optional Linux experience.
- Cloud Compute & Management: AWS, Azure, Oracle IDCS.
- Observability & monitoring: AWS/Azure dashboards, AIOps, log analysis.
- Automation & scripting: PowerShell, Python, or equivalent.
- Intune and laptop/device management.
- Backup & storage concepts, policy management.
- Excellent incident management, documentation, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or Azure AD Admin).
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals (or equivalent).
- VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certification.
- Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) or equivalent.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (or equivalent cloud certification).
- Additional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
