Job Description: Job Title: Solutions Architect Role Summary: Provide pre‑sales technical leadership and solution design for SolarWinds products, delivering product demonstrations, answering technical inquiries, and tailoring solutions to customer business needs across observability, ITSM, database, networking, and security domains. Expectations: - Minimum 4 years in sales and 3 years in pre‑sales or solutions‑architecture roles. - Fluent in English and one of French, Flemish, or Dutch; German proficiency is a plus. - Proven ability to translate complex technical features into clear business value. - Comfortable traveling to partner sites and key customer locations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct online and on‑site product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions. 2. Lead discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and craft tailored solutions. 3. Articulate value propositions that align with customer business objectives. 4. Configure products, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance during sales cycles. 5. Collaborate with sales teams to integrate technical insights into proposals and pricing. 6. Capture and relay customer feedback to Product Management and Development. 7. Represent the company at partner events, trade shows, and industry forums. 8. Offer ongoing support and technical assistance post‑deployment as needed. Required Skills: - Strong technical acumen in Observability, ITSM, Database Management, Networking, and Security solutions. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models. - Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management. - Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and explain product capabilities. - Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - Professional certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent) are desirable. - Demonstrated track record of technical consulting or pre‑sales experience.
