**Job Title**
System Administrator
**Role Summary**
Responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting hybrid IT infrastructure with a primary focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory services. Drives cloud migration, security, and compliance across on‑premises and cloud environments, while managing Windows Server operations, user support, and automation initiatives.
**Expectations**
- 5+ years of system administration experience, specializing in Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Proactive in applying industry best practices and security standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources; maintain Azure AD, Conditional Access, RBAC, and hybrid identity.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) and apply security/compliance controls (DLP, sensitivity labels, encryption).
- Oversee on‑premises Active Directory, configure GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and SSO/federated identity integrations.
- Administer Windows Server (2016‑2022), perform patching, performance tuning, and manage server roles (DB, email, print, backup).
- Implement backup, replication, and recovery using Veeam; support disaster recovery planning with Azure Site Recovery.
- Automate routine tasks via PowerShell and scripting to improve efficiency.
- Enforce endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response in collaboration with security teams.
- Support end‑user computing, including hardware/software provisioning, patch management, and service desk procedures (ServiceNow).
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure deployments, configurations, and disaster recovery.
- Participate in capacity planning, strategic objectives, and technology trend evaluation.
**Required Skills**
- Microsoft Azure administration (resource management, networking, security).
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).
- Active Directory, Azure AD, Conditional Access, RBAC, SSO, group policies.
- Windows Server administration (2016‑2022).
- Backup/restore with Veeam, Azure Site Recovery.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Security tools (Azure Security Center, NSGs, Firewall, endpoint protection).
- Compliance knowledge (GDPR, CISA SCB).
- Documentation, ITIL processes, change/incident management.
- English communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ITIL v4 Foundation training or certification.
- Strong candidates hold Microsoft certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
