Job Description
**Job Title:** Manager – Product Development **Role Summary:** Lead the strategic development and launch of residential products within the Home Services division. Own the product lifecycle for Water Treatment, Water Purification, and Water Heater portfolios, aligning innovations with business goals and market demand. Drive cross‑functional collaboration to ensure customer‑centric, commercially viable, and operationally scalable product initiatives. **Expectations:** - Own end‑to‑end product development for assigned portfolios. - Translate market insights into a forward‑looking roadmap. - Deliver on key milestones of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. - Provide executive reporting on product performance and strategy alignment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop Product Points of View (POVs) capturing industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights. - Co‑create product roadmap: selection, market evaluation, value proposition, customer journey mapping, business case, and forecasting. - Serve on NPI committee, evaluating and prioritizing new product opportunities. - Co‑lead product releases: change management, go‑to‑market strategy, marketing campaigns, post‑sales support, accounting, billing, field operations, and training. - Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual NPI and executive reports. - Manage vendor relationships and source new partners to support innovation. - Partner with Product, Ops, and Marketing teams to set pricing and offer strategies. - Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Call Centre, and Communications for campaign execution. **Required Skills:** - 2–5 years in product development/management; experience in innovation or incubator environments. - Expertise in new product development, Stage‑Gate processes, and product lifecycle management. - Strong financial acumen: business case development, financial modeling, and unit economics. - High technical proficiency, ability to grasp complex concepts quickly. - Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership. - Self‑starter with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. - Certification in product management (e.g., CSPO) and/or project management (e.g., PMP) preferred. - Relevant experience in the home services industry.
