Job Description

Job title: Senior Business Development Manager Role Summary: Lead the Business Development Department within the Commercial Team, steering strategic growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing a team of Business Development Managers to achieve revenue targets. Expectations: Deliver measurable business expansion, maintain high client satisfaction, and ensure alignment of BD initiatives with corporate objectives while upholding industry and company standards. Key Responsibilities: - Head and manage the BD team, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional growth. - Develop and execute a BD strategy that supports the company’s commercial goals. - Coordinate and manage BD stakeholders and project deliverables across multiple initiatives. - Oversee the full BD pipeline, ensuring effective client relationship management and timely opportunity capture. - Identify new business opportunities and lead initiatives that drive revenue growth. - Collaborate with senior leadership to align BD efforts with broader commercial priorities. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Required Skills: - Proven leadership in business development, with experience managing teams. - Deep understanding of the Offshore Maritime and Oil & Gas sectors (Renewables experience preferred). - Strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical capabilities. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Demonstrated ability to drive measurable results and achieve revenue targets. - Established professional network within the industry. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional, Certified Business Development Professional) are advantageous.
