Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator
Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end administration of a multi‑environment ServiceNow platform, including configuration, user management, incident/problem resolution, change management, catalog design, scripting, integrations, updates, performance monitoring, and security compliance, while delivering training and documentation to support continuous IT service improvement.
Expectations: • 2+ years hands‑on ServiceNow administration across multiple environments
• Strong knowledge of client‑side JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (business rules, UI policies, client scripts, Flow Designer)
• Practical application of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.)
• Experience creating knowledge‑transfer documentation and conducting user training
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain ServiceNow across development, test, and production environments
- Manage users, groups, roles, and permissions, ensuring proper access control
- Resolve incidents, problems, and service requests in a timely manner
- Support change and release management, including update sets, migrations, and platform upgrades
- Design, maintain, and update service catalog items, workflows, approval processes, and business rules
- Configure and automate platform functionality (notifications, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer)
- Maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
- Monitor platform performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements
- Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and best‑practice standards
- Develop and deliver user guides, knowledge‑transfer documentation, and training sessions
- Partner with cross‑functional, global teams to align ServiceNow capabilities with business goals
- Apply ITIL best practices to continuously improve IT service management processes
Required Skills:
- ServiceNow administration and configuration
- Client‑side JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer)
- ITIL framework knowledge and practical application
- Knowledge‑transfer documentation creation and delivery
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
Required Education & Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field – preferred
