**Job Title:**
Quality Assurance Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Senior QA Analyst responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases for retail eCommerce platforms, specifically Salesforce Commerce Cloud environments. Conduct comprehensive functional, integration, and end‑to‑end testing while ensuring data integrity across backend systems such as order management, warehouse management, and financial modules. Lead test automation initiatives and support Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high‑quality releases efficiently.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of end‑to‑end QA experience on eCommerce sites and backend applications.
- Minimum 3 years of automation engineering using Selenium, Soap UI, Postman, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber, and related tools.
- Deep understanding of the Test Pyramid, Test Driven Development, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Proven ability to deliver independent work, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, enhancements, and regressions on retail web and mobile platforms.
2. Develop, maintain, and run automated test suites covering functional, integration, system, and UI scenarios.
3. Validate data integrity across integrated systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, IBM iSeries, JDA, PKMS, .NET applications).
4. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to identify test requirements and risk areas.
5. Execute API tests for REST and SOAP services, creating scripts that cover request payloads, headers, authentication, and response validation.
6. Provide defect analysis, report critical issues, and coordinate fix verification with cross‑functional teams.
7. Monitor and improve test coverage and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with quality goals and delivery timelines.
8. Mentor and coach junior QA members on best practices, tooling, and industry standards.
9. Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
**Required Skills:**
- Automation tools: Selenium, Soap UI, Postman, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber.
- API testing: REST and SOAP web services.
- Test Pyramid and test automation strategy.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Retail industry knowledge preferred (store ops, warehouse distribution, merchandising, marketing, accounting, finance).
- Familiarity with IBM iSeries, JDA, SAP, PKMS, .NET ecosystems.
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain customer‑service focus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Certifications are not mandatory but may be considered an asset (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA).
