Job Description
**Job title**: I.T. Solution Architect **Role Summary**: Design, deliver, and oversee secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions for global operations. Work cross‑functionally with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and Business teams to translate complex requirements into end‑to‑end solution designs that maintain architectural integrity across production, supply chain, commercial, and corporate platforms. **Expectations**: - Provide architectural oversight from ideation through implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement. - Embed security principles early, evaluate trade‑offs across performance, risk, cost, compliance, and time‑to‑market. - Guide technical resources in sequencing, milestone definition, and risk reduction. - Lead without authority, influence decision‑making, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. - Participate in compliance audit walkthroughs (SOX, GDPR, PCI‑DSS, NIST, etc.). **Key Responsibilities** - Translate ambiguous business problems into measurable technical requirements (latency, RTO/RPO, availability, compliance). - Design integration patterns, APIs, messaging, middleware, and distributed systems for large‑scale environments. - Architect multi‑cloud and hybrid solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure and AWS, with focus on scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency. - Provide guidance on virtualization, storage, networking, load balancing, identity management, and cost optimization. - Create clear technical specifications, constraints, and options for stakeholders. - Evaluate technology options, perform cost modeling, and align architectures with budget. - Support ERP, supply chain, and planning systems integration (DRP, MRP, logistics). - Build and maintain zero‑trust security designs, IAM, encryption, auditability, and secure‑by‑design practices. - Facilitate audit walkthroughs and compliance documentation. **Required Skills** - Architecture frameworks, integration patterns, best practices. - Systems integration: APIs, messaging, middleware, distributed design. - Cloud architecture: Azure, AWS (multi‑cloud/hybrid); virtualization, networking, storage. - Microservices, RESTful architecture, software design patterns, CI/CD pipelines. - Zero‑trust, IAM, encryption, data governance, compliance (SOX, GDPR, PCI‑DSS, NIST). - Cost modeling, cloud cost efficiency, budget alignment. - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and remote team collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field. - 7+ years as an enterprise solution architect in large organizations. - Cloud Architecture certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Practitioner) and/or TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL are advantageous.
