**Job Title**
MDM Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of a global Master Data Management (MDM) solution, primarily using Reltio and cloud services (AWS). Provide strategic vision, governance, and technical leadership for MDM initiatives across >100 countries, ensuring alignment with enterprise data and digital technology roadmaps.
**Expectations**
- Within 60 days: complete knowledge transfer, independently manage architecture requests, identify and plan process optimizations.
- Long‑term: own end‑to‑end MDM solution architecture, drive adoption of data governance and AI/ML enhancements, deliver scalable integration and cloud designs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain the MDM technology roadmap aligned with corporate digital strategy.
- Design solutions that satisfy product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards.
- Own the full MDM solution architecture: conceptual to physical design, data modeling, proof‑of‑concept, and development.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, shared components, and enterprise‑wide approaches.
- Provide expert reviews on survivorship and match/merge rules for new source systems.
- Design integration architecture supporting hybrid real‑time/batch interfaces.
- Maintain living architectural artifacts (design docs, diagrams).
- Drive data governance, cloud data management, and AI/ML initiatives across the MDM portfolio.
**Required Skills**
*Technical*
- 5+ years’ MDM architecture experience; 7+ preferred.
- Proven implementation of ≥3 MDM projects (lead/technical role).
- Strong MDM platform expertise (Reltio, Informatica, IBM MDM, SAP MDG, Semarchy).
- Deep configuration experience: match rules, survivorship rules, workflows, reference data.
- Integration expertise with MuleSoft (and Solace) for real‑time and batch data flows.
- Proficient in AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) with 3–5 years exposure.
- Knowledge of enterprise source systems (CRM, ERP, DW/BI) and MDM consumer applications.

- Strategic thought leadership and future‑vision communication.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
**Nice‑to‑Have**
- Domain expertise in Pharma/Biotech or information industry.
- SME knowledge of master data domains: HCP, HCO, Product, Payer.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Reltio Certified Architect, or equivalent MDM/Integration certifications.
