Job Description

**Job Title:** Enterprise Software Engineer – APIs, REST, Linux **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise APIs and microservices on Linux, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment. **Expactations (Requirements):** - Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience. - U.S. citizenship; able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+) within 60 days. - Available for 2 days onsite per week; flexible telework. - Strong independent and team collaboration skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using modern Java frameworks (Spring, Guava). - Develop and maintain object‑oriented Java solutions. - Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines with Git, Nexus, Maven, and associated tools. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming. - Ensure security, compliance, and documentation of all services. - Mentor junior developers and review code. **Required Skills:** - Enterprise API design and RESTful web services. - Microservices architecture. - Object‑Oriented Programming (Java). - Linux operating systems. - Agile software development lifecycle. - Configuration management (Git, Nexus, Maven). - Rapid learning and independent problem solving. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - U.S. DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+) certification within 60 days of hire.
