**Job Title**: Chief AI Officer
**Role Summary**
Lead the enterprise‑wide Artificial Intelligence strategy, aligning AI initiatives with business objectives, overseeing the delivery of AI‑powered solutions, and fostering AI adoption across all functions.
**Expectations**
- Champion and operationalize the organization’s AI vision in partnership with the CIO and senior leadership.
- Deliver measurable improvements in service quality and operational performance through AI deployments.
- Scale the AI portfolio from pilot to production, ensuring ethical compliance and regulatory alignment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop and communicate the AI strategy that supports the company’s digital transformation roadmap.
2. Build, lead, and grow an interdisciplinary AI team (ML, generative AI, agents, data engineering, MLOps).
3. Drive end‑to‑end AI projects: identify use‑cases, prototype, industrialize, and integrate solutions into existing IT systems.
4. Implement “AI for All” initiatives: democratize AI via low‑code/no‑code platforms, automation tools, and co‑pilots.
5. Manage AI governance: resource allocation, roadmap prioritization, budgeting, risk management, ethics, and regulatory compliance (e.g., AI Act, GDPR).
6. Lead continuous AI technology scouting and keep the enterprise up‑to‑date on emerging capabilities.
7. Own change‑management programs: train, mentor, and influence stakeholders across business and IT to ensure adoption and sustained benefits.
**Required Skills**
- Proven delivery of large‑scale AI projects with tangible business outcomes.
- Deep technical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI (LLMs, RAG, copilots), and AI agents.
- Strong data engineering, MLOps, and integration experience with legacy IT systems.
- Executive communication and stakeholder management ability.
- Change‑management acumen: designing and delivering AI education, workshops, and adoption programs.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks (AI Act, GDPR).
- Leadership and team‑building skills for cross‑functional AI teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (advanced degrees preferred).
- Professional certifications in AI, ML, MLOps, or related disciplines are advantageous (e.g., Google Professional ML Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning).
