Job Description
Job Title: Sharepoint & Dynamics 365 CE Developer Role Summary: Contract (3‑6 months, outside IR35) development specialist responsible for SharePoint Online consolidation, migration, and integration with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing/Customer Insights). Expactations: Deliver end‑to‑end SharePoint consolidation projects, execute migrations using tools such as ShareGate, and configure CT‑document management workflows that interface seamlessly with Dynamics 365 CE. Maintain live production environments with minimal disruption, produce clear technical documentation, and transfer knowledge to client teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, and document libraries for optimal efficiency. - Plan, execute, and validate SharePoint migrations from legacy or non‑modernised platforms. - Configure Dynamics 365 CE document management integration with SharePoint, ensuring data integrity and compliance. - Analyse and optimise document upload pathways and system integrations. - Decommission or modernise legacy SharePoint environments where applicable. - Apply information governance standards, retention policies, and compliance controls. - Produce concise technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions. Required Skills: - Extensive hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online (site architecture, permissions, document libraries). - Proven track record of SharePoint consolidation and migration projects. - Proficiency with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate). - Experience configuring and supporting Dynamics 365 CE document management integration. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; capable of working in live production environments. - Understanding of information governance, retention policies, and compliance requirements. - Ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation. - Experience in regulated or public‑sector environments is highly desirable. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-600, MS-70) or equivalent credentials are preferred.
