**Job Title:** Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Safeguard and enhance technology infrastructure by designing, implementing, and improving security measures to secure business-critical projects, support digital transformation, and align with strategic objectives. Drive operational efficiency through automation, cloud security adoption, and robust incident response. **Expectations:** Align security frameworks with business strategy; ensure scalability, compliance, and risk mitigation; foster collaboration across IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain a strong security posture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and optimize security infrastructure (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection). - Automate security processes to improve reliability and reduce operational costs. - Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents with minimal downtime. - Oversee cloud/on-premises security solutions, ensuring modernization and scalability. - Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security into digital transformation initiatives. - Maintain adherence to security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and compliance requirements. **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years in security engineering or IT security roles. - Hands-on expertise in security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerability tools). - Experience managing cloud/on-premises security solutions. - Incident response and investigation capabilities. - Knowledge of security frameworks and risk mitigation strategies. - Vendor management and stakeholder communication skills. - Task prioritization across projects and operational demands. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP) preferred. - Continual learning in emerging security threats and technologies.
