Job Description
**Job Title:** Talent & People Apprentice **Role Summary:** An entry‑level apprenticeship (Level 3) supporting the Talent & People team in recruiting and HR administration. The role offers structured learning and on‑the‑job training to achieve a CIPD Level 3 qualification, with the opportunity for permanent placement upon successful completion. **Expectations:** - Attend all training modules provided by the apprenticeship provider. - Progress through the apprenticeship within the 18‑24‑month timeframe. - Actively participate in recruitment cycle activities, maintaining professional communication with candidates. - Demonstrate reliability and willingness to learn within a dynamic office (initially onsite, transitions to hybrid). **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft and publish job advertisements across relevant platforms. - Screen applications and CVs using screening matrices, update records in Team Tailor (ATS). - Administer candidate assessments via Test Gorilla and record results in HRIS (Cezanne). - Communicate with candidates at all stages: CV screening, interview scheduling, feedback, and offer letters. - Coordinate security screening checks (right‑to‑work, DBS, driving licence, references). - Manage the careers mailbox, providing timely customer service. - Assist with recruitment events at schools, colleges and other venues. **Required Skills:** - Proficient use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Planner). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Problem‑solving ability and meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Adaptability to a busy, supportive office environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Completed secondary education (equivalent). - No prior CIPD qualification required; not in possession of CIPD Level 3 (or above). - Right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility. - Successful apprenticeship completion can lead to Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
