Job Title: Network & Security Engineer N2/N3
Role Summary: Manage engineering and technical actions for high‑availability network and security projects on Cisco ACI, Nexus, F5, Broadcom/BlueCoat, Cisco Fortinet, and ASA infrastructures.
Expectations: Deliver robust architecture designs, deploy production-ready security baselines, and support operations post‑deployment with troubleshooting and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical project management, including scheduling, scope definition, and stakeholder coordination.
- Analyze requirements and produce architecture documentation for network and security domains.
- Design, test, and refine pre‑production environments, adjusting deliverables based on outcomes.
- Implement monitoring, backup, and operational procedures for network/security baselines.
- Deploy secure baselines to production environments.
- Provide knowledge transfer, assistance, and support during maintenance and incident resolution.
- Author procedures, processes, and operating modes.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in network and security engineering.
- Proficiency (at least 2) in Cisco Nexus FabricPath/VXLAN, F5 BigIP, Fortinet/firewall or Cisco ASA, Broadcom/BlueCoat, Beeware.
- Strong knowledge of switches, routers, LAN, routing, VLAN/VXLAN, firewalls, NAT/PAT, VPN/SSL‑VPN, IDS sensors, multi‑factor authentication, and proxy technologies.
- Ability to write technical documentation, SOPs, and process guidelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to BAC +5) in engineering with a focus on networking or security.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCNP Security, F5 BIG‑IP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent) preferred.
