**Job Title:** Vice President of Sales, Billington CyberSecurity
**Role Summary:** Executive sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Billington CyberSecurity’s presence within the U.S. public‑sector cybersecurity community. Leads a high‑performance sales team, cultivates C‑suite relationships, develops sponsorship and thought‑leadership programs, and partners with executive leadership to shape strategy and product offerings.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver aggressive multi‑million dollar revenue targets and sustain high renewal rates.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior officials, technology leaders, and key sponsors.
- Grow and mentor a top‑tier sales team, hiring, coaching, and setting clear performance metrics.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity marketing, sponsorship, and strategic engagement initiatives.
- Travel domestically and occasionally internationally up to 10 times per year for client and partner engagements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Sales Leadership** – Design, execute, and refine sales strategies to capture new business in the government cybersecurity sector.
2. **Relationship Management** – Build and sustain relationships with C‑suite executives, marketing leads, and senior decision‑makers at technology companies, cybersecurity firms, and government agencies.
3. **Sponsorship & Thought Leadership** – Drive sales of event sponsorships, full‑year client programs, and customized engagement packages.
4. **Team Leadership & Development** – Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales team; establish performance metrics and accountability.
5. **Business Planning & Forecasting** – Collaborate with executives on pricing, package development, and growth initiatives; provide accurate pipeline analysis and sales forecasts.
6. **Market Intelligence** – Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to guide strategic decisions.
7. **Account Management** – Ensure exceptional client service, satisfaction, and high renewal rates; act as a strategic advisor on cybersecurity marketing objectives.
**Required Skills:**
- Executive sales leadership with proven ability to meet/exceed aggressive revenue targets.
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. federal, state, and local government cybersecurity market.
- Experience selling event sponsorships, conferences, and thought‑leadership programs.
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills with C‑level executives.
- Strategic thinking, business planning, and data‑driven forecasting.
- Leadership and coaching aptitude for building high‑performance sales teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (a Master’s is a plus).
- 10+ years of strategic B2G/B2B sales experience, with ≥5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Valid certifications beneficial: Certified Public Sector Sales Professional, PMP, or relevant cybersecurity/industry credentials.
