Job Description
Job Title: Commercial Manager Role Summary: Lead pre-contract commercial activities to secure new contracts with Platinum clients, collaborate with design teams to align project specifications with client visions, and ensure operational teams execute projects accurately and profitably. Expactations: Manage end-to-end pre-contract processes; supervise a Commercial Estimator; maintain accurate CRM records; deliver client-facing proposals with zero pricing/specification errors; optimize gross profit margins. Key Responsibilities - Lead pre-contract project workflows, ensuring 100% accuracy in specifications, pricing, and documentation. - Partner with Sales Managers and Designers to develop client proposals and secure project approvals. - Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and conditions. - Coordinate internal teams to finalize project handovers, avoiding operational setbacks. - Maintain real-time CRM updates for forecasting and sales tracking. - Supervise Commercial Estimator and delegate workload effectively. Required Skills - 3+ years in commercial/transactional sales or pre-sales operations. - Proven track record in project-based business models (interior landscaping, construction, or design). - Strong team leadership or supervision experience. - Strategic thinking to align client goals with business objectives. - Advanced CRM management (Pipedrive preferred) and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint. - Strong persuasion, communication, and client relationship skills. Required Education & Certifications - No formal qualifications specified. - Full driving license required.
