Job Description: **Job Title** Business Analyst / Functional Analyst **Role Summary** Analyses, defines, documents, and implements IT application enhancements to meet business, regulatory, and partner requirements. Works with internal and external stakeholders, ensures quality through acceptance testing, and provides post‑launch support. **Expectations** - Deliver solutions that fulfill structured business needs while complying with legal and partner obligations. - Conduct effective, collaborative meetings and negotiations. - Serve as a knowledge ambassador for the domain and represent the organization to external partners. **Key Responsibilities** - Gather, validate, and document functional requirements and use cases for application evolution. - Define test scenarios, coordinate acceptance testing, and verify delivery against original specifications. - Maintain detailed application and process documentation. - Support internal and external users with issue resolution within agreed timelines. - Participate in quality assurance and governance processes. - Share domain expertise, promote best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; ability to challenge assumptions constructively. - Excellent communication and presentation skills in French and Dutch; English a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office; basic database/SQL knowledge. - Familiarity with requirements analysis tools (e.g., SPARX, UML) and lifecycle methods (Agile, SDLC). - Negotiation and stakeholder management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (preferably in a scientific field) or equivalent experience. - 1–2 years of relevant business/functional analysis experience. - Bilingual in French and Dutch; English proficiency desired.
