Job Description: Job Title: Chief of Staff – Special Projects Role Summary: The Chief of Staff supports the Director of Financial Services in driving strategic initiatives, project execution, and operational excellence across the fintech platform. This position is pivotal in scaling the financial architecture, launching a payment institution, embedding AI-driven automation, and cultivating institutional partnerships. Expectations: - 3+ years in consulting, investment banking, growth equity, or advisory roles with proven strategic leadership. - Ability to manage cross‑functional projects, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver data‑driven outcomes. - Proactive ownership, strong analytical approach, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute strategic initiatives impacting banking product roadmap and geographic expansion. 2. Lead the end‑to‑end licensing process and infrastructure setup for launching a new payment institution. 3. Design and implement scalable banking processes, integrating automation and AI across underwriting, disbursements, collections, and account management. 4. Manage relationships with funding partners, investors, and financial institutions. 5. Coordinate cross‑department collaboration, track project milestones, and deliver actionable insights. Required Skills: - Strategic planning and project management (Agile/Scrum familiarity a plus). - Strong analytical and quantitative decision‑making. - Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive stakeholder engagement. - Ability to prioritize multiple high‑impact initiatives simultaneously. - Demonstrated startup or early‑stage experience with B2B fintech ecosystems. - Self‑starter mindset with initiative and problem‑solving capability.
