**Job Title**
Talented Data / BI Consultant
**Role Summary**
Provide end‑to‑end consulting in Business Intelligence, Big Data, and Master Data Management. Engage across strategy, design, implementation, training and development for clients in diverse sectors, partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑impact BI and Big Data projects from inception to deployment.
- Collaborate with clients to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Demonstrate adaptability across multiple technologies, methods, and client environments.
- Mentor colleagues and subject‑matter experts; continuously raise the quality of the consulting practice.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Requirements & Gap Analysis** – Conduct workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs, existing data assets, and quality gaps.
2. **Architectural Design** – Draft scalable data architectures encompassing data warehouses, data lakes, and MDM layers; produce logical and physical data models.
3. **Solution Development** – Build ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality rules, and BI dashboards using industry‑standard tools.
4. **Implementation & Testing** – Deploy solutions in production environments, manage data migrations, and execute unit/validation testing.
5. **Training & Enablement** – Deliver end‑user and technical trainings; develop documentation and best‑practice guidelines.
6. **Project Governance** – Maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables; facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives in agile settings.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker).
- Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Azure Data Factory, AWS EMR).
- Strong SQL expertise; familiarity with NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Knowledge of MDM concepts and tools (e.g., Informatica MDM, SAP MDG).
- Data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehouse architecture.
- Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Informatica PowerCenter, AWS Big Data Specialty) are strongly preferred.
