**Job Title:** R&D Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Partner with R&D leadership to ensure consistent, scaled‑agile delivery across teams. Maintain and enhance the Atlassian Jira/Confluence toolchain, provide day‑to‑day Scrum support, and drive adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve productivity. Deliver visibility into releases, facilitate risk mitigation, and create reusable documentation and training assets. **Expectations:** - Keep agile processes clean, transparent, and efficient. - Enable reliable sprint mechanics and cross‑team coordination. - Accelerate internal efficiency through AI (Copilot) use‑case identification, solution design, and user enablement. - Produce actionable metrics and insights that improve predictability, quality, and throughput. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Manage Scrum artifacts: backlog hygiene, dependency tracking, impediment escalation, and cross‑team coordination. 2. Administer and continuously improve Jira and Confluence (projects, boards, workflows, permissions, dashboards, automations, templates). 3. Operate Jira “run‑operations”: user onboarding/offboarding, role/access management, configuration request intake, troubleshooting, vendor escalation. 4. Maintain release‑visibility artifacts (release views, health metrics, flow/throughput reporting) and provide improvement recommendations. 5. Facilitate issue analysis, risk identification, and mitigation planning; adjust plans as constraints change. 6. Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption: develop role‑based training, office hours, guides, and practical examples. 7. Analyze and prioritize AI use cases; define success metrics, track adoption, and remove blockers (data readiness, permissions, process changes). 8. Design, build, and manage Copilot Studio agents (no‑code/low‑code solutions), validate outputs, monitor usage, and control lifecycle updates. 9. Create and maintain high‑quality documentation, templates, and SOPs for agile delivery, tool usage, and Copilot enablement. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of Scrum/Scaled‑Agile frameworks. - Expert administration of Atlassian Jira and Confluence. - Analytical and problem‑solving abilities; data collection and trend analysis. - Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar AI/low‑code platforms. - Ability to design and implement no‑code/low‑code solutions (Copilot Studio). - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder training and coaching. - Risk identification and mitigation planning. - Proficiency in creating clear, reusable documentation and SOPs. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. - Agile certification preferred (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI‑ACP). - Atlassian Jira Administration certification desirable. - Additional AI/ML or Copilot‑related credentials are a plus.
