Job Description
**Job title:** Electromechanical Engineer **Role Summary:** Responsible for the design, modification, procurement, and commissioning of bridge and lifting equipment. Manages technical documentation, project planning, risk assessment, and cross‑functional meetings to ensure seamless execution of lifting projects. **Expectations:** - Produce clear, concise reports, specifications, and test plans. - Coordinate procurement and vendor communication. - Optimize intervention schedules and drive continuous improvement. - Lead multidisciplinary project meetings and supervise site activities. - Support testing, commissioning, and risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft minutes and progress reports for meetings. - Conduct technical research and propose solutions. - Prepare modification dossiers and technical specifications. - Develop functional notices, commissioning procedures, and test sequences. - Create and submit tender documents to suppliers and subcontractors. - Assist in planning interventions, proposing optimizations, and monitoring schedules. - Lead kickoff meetings and capture meeting minutes. - Track prefabrication and on‑site construction activities. - Conduct daily site meetings if required. - Organize post‑job briefings and documentation of outcomes. - Perform residual risk analyses when necessary. - Provide support for testing and commissioning activities. - Participate in strategic steering meetings for tests, qualification, and re‑qualification. - Implement technical improvements on existing installations during construction as needed. **Required Skills:** - Technical writing and documentation. - Project management and planning. - Procurement and supplier coordination. - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical bridge/lifting equipment. - Risk assessment and mitigation. - Cross‑functional team leadership. - Problem‑solving and continuous improvement. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience plus experience). - Industry‑relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management, Safety) are advantageous but not mandatory.
