Job Description
**Job Title** Technical Operations Engineer (3rd Line) **Role Summary** Provide 24/7/365 third‑line technical support for infrastructure, network, and security services. Operate primarily remote with occasional site visits, supporting a diverse client base under a DuPont shift rotation. Ensure continuous service availability, incident resolution, and the implementation of best practices across the client’s IT environment. **Expectations** - Work 12‑hour shifts (Day 7 am‑7 pm, Night 7 pm‑7 am) according to a 4‑week DuPont rota. - Maintain high‑profile client relationships and deliver proactive, secure operations. - Demonstrate solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Diagnose and resolve complex network, system, and security incidents. - Manage routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and VPN configurations. - Administer firewalls (including Fortinet SD‑WAN, physical and virtual), Cisco ISE, and Meraki Wi‑Fi solutions. - Operate and maintain security controls: SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and endpoint protection platforms. - Conduct root‑cause analysis, document incidents, and contribute to knowledge‑base articles. - Collaborate with 2nd/1st line teams, stakeholders, and vendors for escalated issues. - Participate in capacity planning, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, network architecture, and security fundamentals. - Proficient with routing/switching, WAN/LAN technologies, and firewall configuration. - Experience with Fortinet SD‑WAN, firewall switches, Cisco ISE, and Meraki Wi‑Fi. - Strong knowledge of SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and endpoint protection. - Ability to work independently in a remote setting and adapt to shifting shift patterns. - Excellent communication, documentation, and incident‑management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Professional certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE3/4, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security certifications.
