**Job Title**: Network Engineer (H/F)
**Role Summary**
Provide administration, maintenance, and evolution of LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and site interconnections. Configure and manage network equipment (switches, routers, Wi‑Fi access points). Implement and administer network security solutions (firewalls, VPN, segmentation). Diagnose and resolve Level 2 and 3 network incidents. Support performance optimization, supervision, and reliability initiatives. Contribute to network architecture projects, standardization, and security enhancements. Produce and maintain technical documentation.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 1–2 years of practical networking experience, preferably in multi‑site or structured infrastructure environments.
- Willingness to be trained and to develop advanced expertise in network and security technologies.
- Strong analytical mindset, rigor, and curiosity about technical details.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Administer LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and site interconnection environments.
2. Configure and operate network hardware: HP Aruba switches, routers, and Wi‑Fi access points.
3. Deploy and manage network security solutions: Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, F5 load balancers, WAF.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2/3 network incidents.
5. Participate in performance optimization, network supervision, and reliability initiatives.
6. Contribute to architecture evolution projects, standardization, and security hardening.
7. Draft, update, and maintain technical documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewalling.
- Experience configuring and managing HP Aruba (switches/cache) and standard routing equipment.
- Knowledge of firewall configuration (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and application delivery (F5, WAF) is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply fixes.
- Strong written and verbal communication for documentation purposes.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Degree: Bac+5 in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science (or Bac+3 with relevant experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent networking security certifications preferred but not mandatory.
