Job Description
Job title: Delivery Manager / Project Manager Role Summary: Lead the planning, delivery, and close‑out of digital change initiatives within the bank’s technology organization, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality criteria. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and communicate status to senior stakeholders. Expactations: Highly organized, self‑motivated, and collaborative with strong commercial sense. Comfortable juggling multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity, and driving results in a fast‑paced fintech environment. Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide teams without direct authority and to champion continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain overall delivery plans for multiple digital initiatives. - Scope, resourced, and support initiatives through early life support and hand‑over to operations. - Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers across cross‑functional teams. - Track and report on financial performance, progress, and performance metrics. - Manage internal and external dependencies, including supplier relationships where required. - Provide status updates and reports to the Head of Delivery, sponsors, and stakeholders. - Ensure alignment of initiatives with business objectives and the bank’s mission. Required Skills: - Project / delivery management in an agile environment (Scrum/SAFe). - Product management, lean product development, and modern engineering practices. - Strong communication and stakeholder management. - Risk, issue, and finance management. - Ability to influence and lead without direct authority. - Commercial acumen and problem‑solving mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred. - Agile certification (CSM, PSM, or similar) preferred.
