Job Description
Job Title: UK Brand Manager Role Summary: Lead the UK marketing strategy and execution for Designer Parfums’ portfolio, ensuring brand profitability, market presence, and alignment with global objectives. Expectations: - Deliver a clear, budget‑aligned marketing plan that drives brand equity and sales. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with license, global brand, trade, creative, media, and demand planning teams. - Maintain high standards of communication, detail, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain the annual UK marketing calendar in line with agreed budgets and global brand guidelines. 2. Identify and propose in‑store and online marketing initiatives, working with Trade Marketing to maximize retailer potential. 3. Build and sustain relationships with global brand and license partners; provide regular performance and strategic updates. 4. Oversee artwork and creative brief projects; approve designs before global brand approvals. 5. Manage A&P spend, monitor ROI, and optimize spend across campaigns for profitability. 6. Define media strategy, brief agencies, track execution, and analyze campaign results. 7. Coordinate with demand planning to secure marketing collateral (sampling tools, gwp, POSM); flag stock shortages. 8. Provide sales and B2B teams with all necessary tools and information to promote brands effectively. 9. Handle inquiries from internal teams and external partners; respond with appropriate solutions. 10. Liaise with license teams and internal functions; maintain clear communication and documentation. 11. Manage external agency activities (media, PR) to ensure brand consistency. 12. Monitor retail and consumer trends; incorporate insights into strategy. 13. Perform administrative duties related to the role. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of marketing principles, budgeting, stock management, and promotional strategy. - Ability to align sales and marketing activities within the UK market context. - Highly motivated, autonomous, and capable of multi‑tasking. - Excellent verbal & written communication, active listening, and presentation skills. - Detail oriented, organized, flexible, and a creative thinker. - Team player with confidence to work across all organizational levels. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. - Minimum 3‑5 years of brand management experience in FMCG or fragrance industry preferred. - Knowledge of global licensing processes and retail environments.
