Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Node.js Role Summary: Senior backend engineer responsible for architecture and implementation of the compliance platform, ensuring high‑quality, maintainable code and driving adoption of hexagonal architecture and Domain‑Driven Design principles. Expectations: - Deliver robust, performant solutions in a fast‑growing FinTech environment. - Uphold rigorous coding standards, testing, and code‑review practices. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Design, and other engineering teams. - Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Design and evolve a hexagonal architecture that aligns with business domain models. - Implement and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript. - Write clean, testable, and well‑documented code; conduct peer code reviews. - Partner with product and design stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Resolve production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. - Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance across database (MongoDB), messaging (RabbitMQ), and container (Docker) layers. - Mentor and assist junior developers through pair programming and technical guidance.
