Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst – ERP (Finance) Role Summary: Act as the liaison between finance stakeholders and the ERP project team to translate finance processes into clear Microsoft Business Central requirements. Expectations: Deliver fully documented, optimized finance workflows; maintain effective stakeholder communication; support design, testing, training, and change management activities. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse, document, and improve finance processes (AP, AR, GL, month‑end, journals, reporting). - Capture, prioritise, and perform gap analysis of business requirements. - Collaborate with the ERP vendor to design future‑state processes aligned with best practices. - Support testing, training, and change‑impact activities. - Produce clear documentation: process maps, SOPs, RACI charts, and requirement specifications. Required Skills: - Proven Business Analyst experience on ERP or finance system projects (Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, SAP, Sage). - Deep knowledge of core finance processes and systems. - Expertise in process mapping, requirements gathering, and translating finance needs into ERP specifications. - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. - Practical, hands‑on approach; efficient use of limited SME time. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field. - Relevant ERP certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC, SAP FI/CO, NetSuite).
