**Job title:** Product Marketing Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end product positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy while owning competitive intelligence (CI) programs. Drive product adoption and market success through data‑driven insights and cross‑functional collaboration.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver clear, differentiated positioning that resonates with target personas.
- Produce actionable CI reports, battlecards, and battle briefs for sales and marketing teams.
- Ensure CI insights flow into GTM plans, product decisions, and enablement assets.
- Influence decision making with research‑backed recommendations that support growth goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Competitive Intelligence:** Monitor competitor activity, market trends, pricing, and product changes. Build and maintain battlecards, briefs, and competitor profiles. Share insights with product, sales, and marketing stakeholders.
- **Product Marketing:** Create and execute launch plans for new products/features. Develop positioning, messaging, value propositions, and high‑impact sales collateral (one‑pagers, pitch decks, battlecards). Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to align priorities and drive GTM success.
- **Collaboration & Enablement:** Partner with frontline teams to validate intelligence, gather win/loss data, and refine messaging. Champion a culture of intelligence across the organization.
**Required Skills:**
- Analytical & strategic thinking, with the ability to synthesize complex competitive data into actionable insights.
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with CI tools (e.g., Klue, Crayon, Semrush, SimilarWeb) and SWAT, win/loss analysis.
- Sales enablement expertise: content creation, usage metrics, and effectiveness measurement.
- Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Detail‑oriented, inquisitive, outcome‑focused, and self‑starter.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Optional certifications: Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM), Certified Competitive Intelligence Professional (CCIP), or related digital marketing credentials are preferred.
