Job Title: Supply Planning Manager
Role Summary
A 12‑month fixed‑term position responsible for end‑to‑end supply planning over a selected portfolio, managing up to four supply planners, and maintaining global stock positions. The role balances supplier‑centric planning for large contract manufacturers with oversight of smaller suppliers, using data-driven systems to optimise replenishment and minimise cost.
Expectations
- Deliver reliable product availability across the portfolio.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small planning team.
- Drive cross‑functional coordination with sales, finance, and operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory, free‑issue stock, and financial reporting.
- Provide actionable insights within S&OP and other planning forums.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate demand plans into actionable supply plans and manage execution through call‑off and inventory‑status systems.
- Lead day‑to‑day supplier management: expediting, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Conduct supplier reviews with key manufacturers, presenting risk and opportunity assessments.
- Maintain accurate free‑issue inventories at third‑party sites and reconcile variances.
- Generate and present stock‑position, projection, and purchase‑plan reports to finance and leadership.
- Communicate risks, opportunities, and decisions across the organization.
- Support the deployment team to deliver timely regional product‑availability updates.
- Mentor and coach up to four supply planners, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Actively participate in S&OP, inventory optimisation, and other cross‑functional forums.
Required Skills
- Proven supply‑chain planning experience (retail or consumer goods).
- Advanced Excel proficiency; strong analytical and data‑interpretation skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management, influencing, and building relationships across functions.
- People‑management experience; ability to coach, develop, and motivate a small team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem‑solving.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to change.

Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., APICS CSCP, ISM CSCP, Six Sigma, or equivalent) preferred.
