Job Description
**Job title** Cybersecurity Test & Deployment Engineer – Minimum 5 Years Experience **Role Summary** Design, implement and maintain manual and automated test strategies to ensure the quality, security and reliability of cybersecurity solutions before and after production deployment. Collaborate with DevSecOps and product teams to streamline releases, monitor performance, and quickly resolve incidents. **Expectations** - Deliver comprehensive test coverage and automation that reduces manual effort and accelerates release cycles. - Ensure all deployments meet predefined quality and security criteria, achieving zero critical bugs in production. - Provide actionable metrics and continuous improvement recommendations to enhance product stability. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, document and execute manual and automated test plans (API, UI, end‑to‑end). - Identify, reproduce, record and track defects using reporting tools. - Build and maintain automated test suites with tools such as Postman, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium. - Prepare pre‑production and production environments, verifying version compliance before and after release. - Work closely with DevSecOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure deployment reliability. - Monitor post‑release operations, diagnose incidents or anomalies, and coordinate quick resolutions with technical teams. - Engage with product managers and developers to anticipate quality risks and improve user experience. - Drive continuous improvement by incorporating user feedback and lessons learned into testing processes. **Required Skills** - Proficiency with test tools: Postman, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium (or equivalent). - Strong foundation in CI/CD environments and deployment practices. - Experience in scripting: Bash, Python. - Knowledge of Rust and JavaScript highly recommended. - Familiarity with issue tracking and monitoring tools. - Self‑motivated, analytical thinker with strong communication and collaboration abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in test engineering, quality assurance, or a related discipline.
