**Job Title** High Voltage Protection & Networks Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Design, specify, and manage high‑voltage protection and control systems for renewable energy projects. Lead technical coordination with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring compliance with grid codes, IEC standards (incl. IEC 61850), and regulatory requirements while maintaining project cost, quality, and schedule targets. **Expectations** • Deliver technically viable solutions that meet client specifications and grid code constraints. • Ensure all protection, control‑command, and supervision systems are fully compliant with applicable standards. • Communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze client requirements, technical specifications, Grid Code, and regulatory constraints. - Design high‑voltage protection, control, and supervision systems, integrating IEC 61850 and related standards. - Prepare and manage technical specifications, including equipment briefings, dynamic studies, and harmonics analyses. - Contract, monitor, and evaluate suppliers from study to fabrication, assembly, and final testing. - Coordinate technical interfaces with developers, grid operators, turbine schemes, and substation equipment vendors. - Validate system studies, interface checks, and protection schematics. - Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), support field installation, testing, and commissioning of sub‑stations. - Monitor project performance against cost, quality, safety, and schedule objectives for protection and grid‑connection activities. **Required Skills** - Expertise in high‑voltage electrical protection systems (10 kV and above). - In‑depth knowledge of IEC 61850 and other protection standards. - Proficiency with equipment from leading suppliers in the market. - Project management skills: contractual negotiations, technical oversight, cost and timeline control. - Strong analytical and documentation abilities. - Fluent in English (written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent equivalent to Bac+5). - Professional certification or proven experience in high‑voltage protection is preferred.
