Job Title: Channel Sales Engineer III Role Summary: Senior technical sales engineer focused on Microsoft Security and cloud solutions, serving as the primary technical advisor and integration architect for key alliance partners. Responsible for shaping joint value propositions, leading technical discussions with customers and partners, and delivering enablement and feedback to product and marketing teams. Expectations: - Act as the definitive Microsoft Security integration expert for Huntress and partners. - Drive end‑to‑end solution design, from architecture to proof‑of‑concept, that demonstrates measurable outcomes for customers. - Translate partner feedback into actionable improvements for product roadmap, GTM assets, and co‑sell playbooks. - Maintain deep knowledge of Microsoft Security ecosystem updates and identify opportunities for early adoption. Key Responsibilities: - Define and refine integration and coexistence frameworks for Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Azure Sentinel, and M365 with Huntress SIEM/ITDR/SOC. - Architect, validate, and document telemetry flows (e.g., Entra sign‑ins, Azure Activity Logs, M365 signals) to ensure reliable ingestion into SIEM platforms. - Lead technical portions of joint customer calls, scope and execute proof‑of‑concepts, and ensure coherent storytelling across Huntress and Microsoft. - Serve as the primary technical liaison for high‑impact alliance partners, translating platform needs into implementation plans. - Build reusable technical assets, demos, and training modules for alliance SEs, solution specialists, and field sellers around use cases, integration patterns, licensing, and competitive positioning. - Capture qualitative and quantitative partner insights, feed them into product, marketing, and SOC teams, and advocate for integration gaps and roadmap requests. - Stay current on Microsoft Security announcements, new product releases, and API capabilities to recommend enhancements for Huntress solutions. - Collaborate with Technical Sales leadership to develop internal training, demo patterns, and lab environments for SEs and TAMs focused on Microsoft Security and alliance integrations. - Travel 25–40% for alliance meetings, co‑sell opportunities, and strategic planning sessions. Required Skills: - 5–7+ years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft Security and cloud environments (Defender, Entra ID/Azure AD, M365 Business Premium/E3/E5, Sentinel/Log Analytics). - Proven track record in alliance or co‑sell programs with large platform vendors, translating partner playbooks into joint solutions and customer outcomes. - Strong architectural mindset with capability to design telemetry pipelines, integration patterns, and managed service overlays. - Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior technical and commercial stakeholders across customers and partners. - Ability to develop and deliver technical enablement content and conduct effective customer demonstrations. - Detail‑oriented, able to translate partner and customer feedback into structured product and marketing inputs. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (or equivalent). - Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst (or equivalent). - Additional certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CISSP preferred.
