VP of IT Operations – Wealth Management
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end IT operations function for a high‑growth fintech, establishing and optimizing a cloud‑native Azure infrastructure. Build a world‑class operations team, accelerate platform scaling, and drive strategic changes that increase efficiency, performance, and cost‑effectiveness.

- Lead cross‑functional initiatives, aligning helpdesk, networking, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Own cost‑optimization initiatives, ensuring total cost of ownership aligns with business targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and evolve comprehensive Azure infrastructure roadmaps, focusing on scalability, performance, and resilience.
- Lead day‑to‑day IT operations, including incident management, service delivery, capacity planning, and SLA compliance.
- Champion Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, automating provisioning, configuration, and governance.
- Oversee security posture across cloud and on‑prem assets, implementing controls, compliance checks, and threat mitigation.
- Manage helpdesk operations, ensuring high‑quality ticket resolution, end‑user satisfaction, and efficient incident escalation.
- Conduct continuous performance tuning and optimization of services and applications.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, cost‑analysis dashboards, and reporting for executive leadership.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team.
**Required Skills**
- Extensive experience in Azure cloud operations (at least 8–10 years).
- Strong expertise in IaC, Terraform, and related automation tools.
- Deep knowledge of networking, security, and helpdesk operations within a cloud context.
- Proven ability to design and scale cloud infrastructures for high‑volume, low‑latency workloads.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a track record of delivering operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/telemetry tools.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ‑300/301, AZ‑400, or Solutions Architect Expert).
- Terraform Certified Associate (preferred).
- Additional certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or ITIL are advantageous.
