Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and operation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Use IaC and modern DevOps practices to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance across development, staging, UAT, and production environments. Expectations: * Deliver end‑to‑end automation for build, test, deployment, and monitoring. * Enforce security and governance policies in cloud operations. * Mentor engineering teams and drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes. Key Responsibilities: * Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure, Azure Bicep, and Terraform, ensuring scalability and security. * Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. * Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment. * Oversee security governance, compliance, risk mitigation, and incident response for cloud environments. * Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to enable seamless, secure deployments. * Monitor system performance, optimize resources for high availability, and plan disaster recovery. * Establish and enforce DevOps standards, best practices, and documentation. * Mentor and support team members on infrastructure, security, and DevOps methodologies. Required Skills: * 10+ years of DevOps or infrastructure leadership experience. * Strong proficiency in Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Bicep, Terraform, and IaC tools. * Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. * Version control expertise (Git, Bitbucket, or SVN). * CI/CD tool experience (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). * Deep knowledge of cloud networking, security protocols, and compliance frameworks. * Containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes (preferred). * Monitoring tools familiarity (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor). * Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
