**Role Summary**
Assist in building the user‑interface and interaction layer for a real‑time acoustic simulation and performance prediction tool used in professional sound‑reinforcement design. The role involves comparative research on market solutions, designing and implementing UI/UX workflows, creating interactive editing tools, and integrating front‑end components with a back‑end simulation engine.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a robust, intuitive UI/UX that bridges acoustic simulation back‑end logic with end‑user workflows.
- Produce iterative prototypes, identify usability bottlenecks, and refine the interface over multiple test cycles.
- Work cross‑functionally with R&D, audio engineers, and product stakeholders to translate technical constraints into usable design features.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze competitor acoustic simulation tools, document best practices, and propose improvements.
- Design and encode UI workflows for project preparation, system configuration, simulation execution, and results visualization.
- Build interactive editors (advanced forms, tables, 2D/3D visualizations) for defining system geometry, speaker clusters, arrays, and subordinate parameters.
- Implement UI controls for hearing‑care presets, filter groups, and configuration overrides (gain, delay, polarity, etc.).
- Integrate with the simulation backend via API, ensuring smooth data flow and error handling.
- Render output metrics (heat maps, contour maps, vector maps, directive diagrams, frequency responses) in a user‑friendly format for scenario comparison.
- Conduct realistic simulation use‑cases, document friction points, and feed findings into the product roadmap.
- Enforce business constraints (mechanical, geometrical, configuration safety) directly in the UI, with clear validation messaging.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient front‑end development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React/Angular/Vue frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing responsive, accessible user interfaces for complex data.
- Familiarity with 2D/3D visualization libraries (Three.js, D3.js, WebGL) and data‑driven charting.
- Strong UX research skills: user flows, usability testing, wireframing, and prototyping (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Ability to integrate front‑end components with RESTful or GraphQL back‑end APIs.
- Basic understanding of audio signal processing concepts or immersive acoustic parameters is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or related field (or current enrollment).
- Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design and front‑end implementation on complex applications.
