**Job Title**
DevOps Engineer (H/F)
**Role Summary**
Support the Corporate Architecture team by designing, building, and maintaining robust automation and DevSecOps solutions across Windows and Linux environments. Drive continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, ensure infrastructure consistency, enforce security best‑practice, and enable rapid, reliable application releases.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end automation that reduces manual effort and speeds delivery cycles.
- Drive security and compliance from code to production, applying DevSecOps principles.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security stakeholders in an agile setting.
- Actively monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and propose continuous improvements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Octopus, Jenkins) for code integration and automated deployment to test, pre‑production, and production.
- Implement configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform) to guarantee consistency across environments.
- Create and enforce security controls, vulnerability scanning, and hardening procedures throughout the dev‑ops lifecycle.
- Deploy and manage containerized services using Kubernetes and Docker, and virtualized workloads on VMware.
- Design and implement observability solutions—monitoring, alerting, log aggregation—to detect and resolve incidents quickly.
- Optimize application and infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
- Participate in the architecture of new features and translate business requirements into technical design.
- Conduct technology and security research, keeping the team updated on emerging tools and practices.
**Required Skills**
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with virtualization (VMware) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins).
- Expertise in IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Scripting and programming in Python and Bash on Linux/Windows.
- Operational security experience, including vulnerability management and OS hardening.
- Familiarity with AWS services is a plus.
- Competence in observability, monitoring, and log management.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and project delivery.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications desired: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Terraform Associate, Docker Certified Associate, or equivalent DevOps/Cloud credentials.
