**Job Title:** Common Data Environment (CDE) & BIM Consultant / SME
**Role Summary:**
Lead the configuration, implementation, and optimisation of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and CDE platforms for a large UK energy infrastructure programme. Provide expert guidance on ISO 19650 standards, BIM execution plans, and data governance, ensuring seamless collaboration among architects, engineers, and contractors.
**Expectations:**
* Deliver fully functional, compliant BIM workflows and data management systems.
* Maintain high standards of model quality, interoperability, and information security.
* Facilitate knowledge transfer and continuous improvement of BIM practices across the project.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Configure and optimise ACC and CDE platforms for multidisciplinary teams.
2. Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM execution plans, templates, and digital data standards.
3. Advise on ISO 19650 compliance throughout design, construction, and handover phases.
4. Collaborate with project stakeholders to integrate BIM processes and resolve technical issues.
5. Deliver training, workshops, and knowledge‑transfer sessions on BIM best practices.
6. Conduct quality‑control audits on BIM models and data for accuracy and interoperability.
7. Monitor emerging BIM technologies and recommend enhancements to workflows.
8. Manage information governance, intellectual property, and data security risks.
9. Liaise between IT and project teams to troubleshoot integration and performance issues.
**Required Skills:**
* 3+ years configuring and managing ACC, CDE, and BIM platforms.
* Proven BIM implementation experience, including federated models, clash detection, and data coordination.
* Expertise in ISO 19650 and UK construction data protocols.
* Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM authoring/coordination tools.
* Strong project‑management, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
* Analytical mindset for auditing, validating, and troubleshooting complex BIM/CDE data flows.
* Knowledge of information‑security and data‑governance best practices in digital construction.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Professional certification in BIM management or equivalent (e.g., UK BIM Certificate, Autodesk Certified Professional) is desirable.
