System Engineer – Automation, Monitoring & Supervision (F/M)
Role Summary
Provide expert supervision and monitoring for a technical team on high‑impact projects across diverse clients. Deploy, administer, and optimise monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana), maintain operational stability, design dashboards and alerts, train users, and drive continuous improvement through technology watch and vendor collaboration.
Expactations
- Minimum Bac+4/5 (engineering or equivalent) or self‑taught technician with solid supervision experience.
- First‑hand SOC/NOC, operations, or integration background preferred.
- Fluency in English (written & spoken) required.
- Proactive, analytical, autonomous, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deploy, configure, and optimise Zabbix and Grafana solutions on client infrastructure.
2. Ensure operational maintenance (MCO) of monitoring platforms.
3. Define, update, and evolve performance indicators, dashboards, and alerting thresholds.
4. Train end‑users and provide ongoing support.
5. Conduct technology watch on monitoring and automation tools; evaluate new releases.
6. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Manage network and security visibility across VPN/MPLS, FTTx, QoS, and related infrastructure.
8. Oversee virtualization environments (Proxmox, VMware vSphere, Docker) and related monitoring.

- Monitoring & automation tools: Zabbix, Grafana.
- Networking: OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VPN, PKI, IPSEC/SSL, Proxy, WAF, Anti‑Virus/Spam.
- Datacenter: Routing/Switching LAN/MAN/WAN.
- Enterprise infra: Messaging, VoIP, storage, SaaS services.
- Web application architecture: multi‑tier, directory services.
- Operating systems: Linux/Unix.
- Scripting: Python, Perl, Ansible.
- Virtualisation: Proxmox, VMware vSphere, Docker.
- Desired: Ansible, Kubernetes orchestration.
- Certifications: Zabbix (preferred).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bac+4/5 engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Zabbix certification preferred.
- English language certification or equivalent fluency.
