Job Description
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Grand Est Role Summary Lead the sales function for the Grand Est region within a construction materials company. Spearhead prospecting, client relationship management, and commercial negotiations while aligning with corporate strategy. Drive revenue, volume, product mix and profitability targets through a coordinated, customer‑centric approach. Expectations - Meet or exceed annual sales targets for revenue, tonnes, product mix and margin. - Expand and sustain a high‑performing client portfolio. - Deliver accurate commercial forecasts and contribute to strategic planning. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute a prospecting plan based on pre‑defined targets. - Nurture existing accounts, propose solutions, and close deals. - Prepare and present written commercial offers. - Negotiate pricing, volumes and delivery terms within internal guidelines. - Conduct site visits, provide technical product information, and convert leads into contracts. - Collaborate with marketing to refine sales arguments and collateral. - Maintain accurate records in CRM, generate visit reports and update forecasts. - Support billing and collections, addressing post‑sale issues and disputes. - Engage partner distributors to promote product portfolios. Required Skills - Strong teamwork and communication abilities. - High analytical aptitude, proactiveness, rigor, and initiative. - Excellent client‑service orientation and negotiation skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel), ERP systems and CRM platforms (Salesforce, etc.). - Technical fluency in civil engineering or construction products. - Willingness to travel extensively within metropolitan France. Required Education & Certifications - BTS or DUT in Civil Engineering, Construction Works, or equivalent with a commercial focus (or a related business degree). - 5–10 years of sales experience in civil engineering, construction, or related sectors, or experience as an engineer, project manager, or in construction works.
