**Job Title** Data & AI Architect **Role Summary** Lead the technical governance and architecture of a unified Data & AI platform, accelerating AI/ML industrialization, ensuring consistency across MLOps, LLMOps, and DataOps environments, and driving platform modernization within an Azure‑based ecosystem. **Expectations** - Deliver a cohesive target architecture diagram and implementation framework for MLOps/LLMOps. - Produce best‑practice guides for DataOps, CI/CD, and model monitoring. - Create dashboards for AI/ML performance, maturity, and FinOps tracking. - Recommend governance enhancements for federation, autonomy, security, and compliance (GDPR, AI Act, ISO 42001). **Key Responsibilities** - Design target architectures for AI/LLM use cases (MLOps, LLMOps, DataOps, Unity Catalog). - Oversee Unity Catalog deployment across all Databricks environments (security, lineage, sharing, FinOps). - Define and maintain the AI foundation architecture framework (governance, security, traceability, observability). - Ensure technical consistency among Data Factory, AI Factory, and operational systems. - Mentor DataOps/MLOps teams on automation, CI/CD, model monitoring, and best practices. - Facilitate knowledge transfer on Databricks, Unity Catalog, MLFlow, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory. - Collaborate with Delivery teams to guarantee pipeline reliability and environmental resilience. - Prepare the platform for federated Data Products (MCP interoperability, Managed Server, automation). - Propose AI‑by‑Design solutions, integrating internal LLM models and hybrid models. - Lead innovation initiatives in AI observability, AI Cost Control/FinOps, and real‑time data activation. **Required Skills** - • Databricks Lakehouse Platform (Unity Catalog, MLFlow, Delta Sharing, Delta Live Tables). - • Azure Data & AI services: Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Event Hub, Key Vault, Azure ML, AI Gateway. - • MLOps/LLMOps tooling and practices (CI/CD, model deployment, observability, monitoring). - • Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, Azure DevOps. - • Programming: Python, Spark, PySpark. - • FinOps, security, data lineage, and observability expertise. - • Knowledge of GDPR, AI Act, ISO 42001 compliance. - • Strong communication, mentorship, and agile collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent. - Minimum 7 years of proven experience in Data & AI architecture. - Azure certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate).
